Two separate deadly attacks involving boda boda riders occurred in Kenya over the weekend.
In Kisabei, along the Kinanduba-Mpeketoni road, a motorcycle passenger was shot dead Friday night when the rider fled from gunshots believed to be a warning to stop. The bullet struck the passenger in the head, killing him instantly. Police are yet to establish the motive. The area is known for frequent banditry, prompting ongoing security operations.
