Kirinyaga Woman Representative Njeri Maina and social media activist Hanifa Adan were among those honoured at the 2025 Thamani Awards held at the KCB Leadership Centre in Nairobi. MP Njeri received the Voice of Reason Award, while Hanifa was named Best Social Media Impact winner.
Busia Woman Rep Catherine Omanyo was awarded Most Outstanding Educationist, and Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu received the Historical Lifetime Achievement Award, accepted on her behalf by Balozi wa Mama Dr. Cassypool Capon and actress Wellu Sengo. Dr. Asha Mohamed, AU representative, won Best Executive 2025.
