In Nairobi’s Kayole, a 17-year-old boy fatally stabbed the mother of a 19-year-old girl he had impregnated during a meeting called to discuss the pregnancy. The girl’s aunt was also seriously injured. The teen, suspected of planning both murder and suicide, was arrested at the scene, where a knife and turpentine were recovered.
In a separate incident in Trans Nzoia, another 17-year-old boy killed his 32-year-old brother during a fight over Sh100 meant for lunch. The suspect was arrested, and both bodies were taken to local morgues for postmortem examinations. Police report a growing trend of daily murder cases across the country.
