Kenya Power has announced that several regions across Kisii, Bungoma, and Uasin Gishu counties will experience power outages on Saturday, May 10, 2025, due to scheduled system maintenance. The interruptions will occur at different times between 8am and 5pm.
In Kisii, areas including Boronyi, Igego, Bokebo, St. Teresa Bokebo, parts of Kiogoro, and nearby customers will be affected from 9am to 2pm.
In Bungoma, Chwele Market, Musese, Sanandiki, and surrounding areas will face outages from 8am to 5pm.
In Uasin Gishu, power will be cut from 8am to 5pm in Kipkaren River, Kapkenyeloi, St. Mary’s Osorongai, and adjacent regions.
Kenya Power says the outages are necessary to facilitate critical maintenance work on its systems.
