Police recovered three homemade pistols during an operation in Kabiria, Nairobi, after stopping a motorcycle rider carrying a passenger who made a suspicious turn. Upon interrogation, the rider was found with a toy pistol and led authorities to his house, where the pistols, an axe, hacksaw, and a police beret were found. The suspect is under investigation, with Nairobi police chief Adamson Bungei confirming the firearms were functional and capable of causing harm. The operation is part of efforts to curb rising armed robberies in the area, with police focusing on rogue motorcycle riders involved in crime.
