Kenya Power has announced scheduled power outages in seven counties on Wednesday, May 13, 2025, from 8 am to 5 pm to allow for routine maintenance.
Affected counties include Nairobi, Mombasa, Nandi, Bungoma, Siaya, Nyeri, and Kiambu.
In Nairobi, areas such as Ngando, Dagoretti Corner, and parts of Jamuhuri will experience outages from 9 am to 5 pm.
Nandi regions like Kipyesh and Chepterwai will be affected, as will Bungoma‘s Chebwai and Kaburengu.
Siaya areas include Mbaga Mission, Boro Market, and Sidundo.
Nyeri will see widespread cuts in villages including Ngandu, Unjiru, and Itiati.
Kiambu areas like Kevian Industries and Gretsa University will also face disruption.
Mombasa areas affected include Bohora Flats and Sheikh Khalifa Secondary School.
