The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has announced a full-day closure of Limuru Road near Aga Khan Primary School on Sunday, May 11, 2025, to facilitate the installation of a footbridge deck. The closure will last from midnight to 11:59 PM. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and follow directions from traffic marshals and police officers. Access to nearby locations like City Park Estate and Total Energies will be maintained through designated diversions. The project aims to enhance pedestrian safety. KURA apologized for any inconvenience. In a related effort to enforce pedestrian safety, NTSA recently detained several pedestrians for failing to use designated footpaths and footbridges.
