Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has called for stronger relationships across age groups, stressing the importance of intergenerational solidarity in solving national issues. Speaking during the National Prayer Breakfast, he emphasized that no age group is superior and that unity among the youth, adults, and elders is essential for national cohesion.
Kindiki also urged for improved relations with neighboring countries and criticized the divisive exchanges on social media between leaders and youth, saying they reflect poorly on the nation. He stated that forums like the Prayer Breakfast provide valuable opportunities to address such issues and promote national reflection and healing.
The DP concluded by highlighting the significance of regular self-assessment and prayer in shaping a more united and effective national journey.
