Kenya aims to strengthen its position in the global Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. The Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) hosted the inaugural MICE Stakeholder Forum on September 25, bringing together industry leaders to strategize on elevating Kenya’s MICE sector. KICC CEO James Mwaura emphasized tourism’s role in the economy and the potential of MICE to drive growth and employment. Key recommendations included establishing a convention bureau, expanding market presence, and addressing infrastructure concerns to enhance Kenya’s competitiveness in the global MICE market.
