In Migori County, a 71-year-old man, Tobias Marwa Chacha, was fatally shot while grazing his cattle at the border of Transmara South and Ntimaru sub-county. The attack also left his grandchild critically injured. Authorities suspect a land dispute as the motive, citing ongoing tensions in the region.
