Several government agencies have announced job openings, with details published in Tuesday’s edition of MyGov.
The Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency is hiring for 41 positions, including general manager for infrastructure development, principal and civil engineers, water inspectors, a sociologist, senior accountant, accounts assistant, senior administrative staff, water quality officer, land economist, corporate communications staff, hydrogeologist, and several officers in records management, partnerships, legal services, internal audit, ICT, and supply chain management. Five driver positions are also available.
Interested candidates can find full details on the agency’s website, www.crvwwda.go.ke. Applications must be submitted in hard copy by May 29, 2025, addressed to the chairman (for management roles) or the Chief Executive Officer (for other positions).
Taita Taveta University has also advertised several vacancies. These include three chief technologists, a technologist in the School of Science, a principal student counsellor, a sports and games assistant officer, a nursing officer, a medical lab technologist, and ICT support staff. The university is also seeking academic staff, including associate professors, senior lecturers, and lecturers in the Schools of Science, Informatics, Agriculture, and Education.
