On Monday, First Lady Rachel Ruto inaugurated the Jitume Digital Hub at Butere Girls High School in Kakamega.
During the launch, she emphasized that the digital center aims to expedite the transition from learners to earners by facilitating access to digitized and online job opportunities.
Accompanied by ICT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo and other leaders, Mama Rachel highlighted the digital sector as a significant job creator, particularly for the youth.
“Being tech-savvy is essential for success in almost every area of life. We must equip our young people with the skills necessary to thrive in the job market and contribute productively,” she stated.
