Detectives in Nakuru are investigating a tragic case where a boda boda rider allegedly poisoned his two sons, aged 7 and 12, before attempting to take his own life. The suspect is currently hospitalized under police guard at the Nakuru Teaching and Referral Hospital.
According to police and the children’s mother, the incident occurred while she was at work. She returned home after learning the boys were in distress, only to find them critically ill with severe diarrhea. Despite efforts to save them, both children died while undergoing treatment. Their bodies have been moved to the hospital morgue for autopsy as police consider murder charges against their father.
