The DCI reported via X that two suspects were arrested following a burglary report from a resident in Utawala. After returning to his rented home at Haiza Apartment, the complainant found his belongings stolen. Investigators traced the suspects’ escape vehicle, a Mazda CX5 with fake plates, to a bar in Thogoto. Of the four people inside, two escaped while the driver and an accomplice were arrested. A search of the car revealed burglary tools, fake number plates, and master keys. The suspects are in custody pending court proceedings, as police pursue more accomplices.
