A bus driver accidentally killed his conductor while reversing a vehicle at the Gikomba bus stop in Nairobi on November 25. According to police, the accident occurred along Kware Road near Kirima House as the matatu crew prepared to pick up passengers.
The conductor, Joseph Karanja, 28, was guiding the driver during the maneuver when he was crushed against a wall. He suffered severe head injuries and was rushed to Guru Nanak Hospital, where he later died while receiving treatment. The body has been taken to the City Morgue for a postmortem, and police have launched investigations into the incident.
