Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife, Alfred Mutua, arrived at the Narok Airstrip on Wednesday to launch the National Wildlife Census 2024. He was greeted by Narok County Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu.
The initiative aims to evaluate the status of wildlife populations within the Greater Masai Mara Ecosystem.
“This morning, I landed at Narok Airstrip and was warmly welcomed by Narok County Governor, H.E. @OleNtutuK, for the launch of the National Wildlife Census 2024. This initiative seeks to assess the status of wildlife in the Greater Masai Mara Ecosystem,” Mutua stated.
He noted that this marks Kenya’s second National Wildlife Census, following the successful launch in 2021.
