In Kalima Upepo, Bamburi (Mombasa County), the decomposed body of James Tabulei, 60, was discovered in a 60-foot borehole after locals complained of a foul smell from the water. The borehole was in use, and it’s unclear whether Tabulei slipped or was dumped there. His body showed no visible injuries upon retrieval and was taken to the mortuary for autopsy and further investigation.
