In Yatta, Machakos County, police are investigating the murder of a 50-year-old man, which is suspected to be related to a love triangle. The incident occurred on Tuesday when the man was reportedly struck on the head with a hoe handle, resulting in his immediate death.
Authorities have launched a manhunt for a 34-year-old suspect, who has reportedly fled the scene after the alleged crime. A 41-year-old woman, who was involved with both the victim and the suspect, is currently assisting with the investigation.
The victim’s body has been transported to Komboni Mission Mortuary for an autopsy. According to police, the woman was escorting the victim when they encountered the suspect, leading to a confrontation that ended in the fatal attack.
