The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has expressed deep sorrow following the death of Chemundu/Kapngetuny MCA and Nandi County Assembly Majority Whip, Julius Kipruto Keter, who passed away on April 12, 2025. In a statement, the party hailed Keter as a loyal and dependable leader, describing his death as a great loss to his family, constituents, and the UDA fraternity.
Keter died at Fountain Hospital in Eldoret after battling illness for about three weeks. Nandi County Assembly Speaker Philemon Melly eulogized him as a dedicated public servant with a legacy of service and humility. Nandi Governor Stephen Sang also mourned Keter, praising his leadership and commitment to development. Keter was first elected to represent Chemundu/Kapngetuny Ward in 2022.
