A suspect in the fatal assault of Sang has been detained after police discovered chilling evidence at his residence. Sang was reportedly hanged using a chain and pulley, left unconscious, and later succumbed to his injuries at Longisa Referral Hospital, where his body awaits a post-mortem examination. Authorities recovered a pulley, chain, and diesel-soaked items linked to the assault.
Meanwhile, police are also investigating the recent lynching of two mechanics in Nairobi’s Ruai area. The mechanics were killed after accusations of fuel theft. Police have arrested the garage owner and warn that mob lynching perpetrators will face murder charges.
