Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has embarked on his first international assignment since assuming office, representing President William Ruto at the inauguration of Botswana’s President Duma Boko. The ceremony will take place on Friday at the National Stadium in Gaborone.
Kindiki departed from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, accompanied by Senators Fatuma Dullo and Eddy Oketch, along with Members of the National Assembly Owen Baya, Vincent Musyoka, John Njuguna Kawanjiku, Victor Koech, and Elisha Odhiambo. This trip also marks Kindiki’s first time leaving the country in nearly two years, following his official transition into office at Harambee Annex.
