The 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results will be released today, January 9, 2025, at 10 a.m. Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba is scheduled to announce the results at New Mitihani House in South C, Nairobi.
This year’s KCSE exams were conducted in 10,755 centres, with a record-breaking 965,501 candidates, marking an increase from 903,138 in 2023. Marking concluded on December 13, 2024, following efforts by examiners across 35 designated marking centres.
The KCSE results release follows the publication of the 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) reports by the Kenya National Examination Council (Knec) yesterday. Schools have been encouraged to access the learner-specific KPSEA reports via the CBA portal.
The KPSEA, administered from October 28 to November 1, 2024, saw 1,303,913 Grade 6 students across 35,573 centres sit for exams in Mathematics, English, Kiswahili, Integrated Science, Creative Arts, and Social Studies. All candidates will transition to Grade 7 within their current primary schools.
