Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has urged the government to stop sidelining his allies in parliamentary committees, calling it unfair to leaders who campaigned for the current regime. Speaking at ACK Holy Trinity Kitengela Church, he criticized the move, especially the targeting of Mount Kenya leaders.
Recent changes in committee leadership saw Gachagua’s allies reassigned to less influential panels. He also called on the government to prioritize essential needs like water and roads over housing projects and condemned rising abductions, citing recent cases in Kitengela.
