Two people lost their lives in a motorcycle accident on Nairobi-Kangundo Road in Matungulu, Machakos County. The crash, involving a motorbike and a Voxy vehicle near Savanna Lodge, occurred on Monday evening.
Police confirmed that both the rider and pillion passenger died instantly. Upon searching the scene, officers found approximately 2kg of bhang in their possession, which was confiscated.
The wreckage of both vehicles was taken to Tala Police Station, while the bodies were moved to Kangundo Level 4 Hospital mortuary for autopsy and identification. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
