Kenya Power has announced planned power interruptions on Thursday in four regions: Nairobi, North Rift, South Nyanza, and North Eastern. The outages will occur between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with specific timings varying by location.
Nairobi
Power cuts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. will affect Ndunyu Market, Feed the Children, Quickmart Waithaka, Mutuini Hospital, Kirigu Primary, Orthodox Church Pathenios, Ahiti, Uthiru Muthua Dispensary, Pork Centre, Mugi Road, Muhuri Road, Kabete ACK, Q Bash Lounge, Markim Apartments, and Uthiru Cooperation.
North Rift Region
From 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m., outages will affect Murto, Kimogoch, Kabisaga, Chepkoyot, Kibulwet, Kosirai, Mbelekenya, Kipsimo, Kalya, Mosoriot, and nearby areas.
South Nyanza Region
Power cuts are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Uriri, Kamsaki, Koigo, Bware, Kisangura, Kolwal, Kakrao, God Jope, Oyani, Ugari, Warisia, Stellah, Magongo, Rayudhi, Nyasare, Chamkombe, Pinnacle Plaza, and Kimadui. In Kisii, outages from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. will affect Igonga Market, Gesero, Bogitaa, Kirwanda, Water Park Hotel, Nyagwekoa, and surrounding areas.
North Eastern Region
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., outages will impact Kinoo Market, parts of Kinoo 87, Muthiga, Gaitumbi, Baraniki, Kirima, Thindigua GG, Kiambu High, Starehe, Fairview, Windsor, Ngomongo, Consolota, Edenville, and Mushroom. Additional areas include Juja Farm, Magomano, Theta, and multiple surrounding locations like Kwa Murage, Kwa Ruhi, and Athi S/Centre.
