A woman in Nakuru County was attacked by armed robbers while returning home from work, resulting in the theft of two mobile phones, Sh2,000, and personal items. The robbers, armed with knives, fled after the victim raised an alarm. Police on patrol responded promptly, and during the pursuit, a bystander fatally shot one suspect with an arrow, while others escaped. A dagger was recovered from the deceased, whose body was taken to Annex County Mortuary for identification and autopsy. An investigation is ongoing.
In Adelle, Tana River County, Patrick Mwiti, 35, was shot in the chest by three unknown assailants, one armed with an AK rifle. Police reported no items were stolen. A spent 7.62 mm cartridge was recovered at the scene, and Mwiti is currently in fair condition at Garissa General Hospital.
