Ombaka expressed her concerns regarding the persistent protests, warning that they could escalate into a revolution if President William Ruto fails to address the demands of Generation Z. She noted that neighboring countries like Ethiopia, Uganda, and Somalia perceive Kenya as a puppet of Western powers, a view she attributes to the arrogance of certain MPs who do not fully understand the implications of the Finance Bill.
Additionally, Ombaka highlighted the potential risks associated with Kenya’s status as a non-NATO ally, suggesting it could provoke conflict with Russia. She advocated for a cultural shift toward self-reliance and meritocracy, pointing out that inefficiencies in devolution have resulted in 80 percent of devolved funds being consumed by recurrent expenditures.
Furthermore, Ombaka urged the youth, particularly Gen Z, to elect leaders who prioritize decisive action over mere dialogue, encouraging them to resist Western influence. She also called for an end to the abduction of Kenyans.
