Posta Kenya Corporation (PKC) has announced a significant increase in charges for MPost virtual address numbers, effective July 5, 2024.
The new pricing structure sees corporate users facing a staggering 2,200% hike, bringing the annual fee to Sh9,450, while individual box holders will experience a 400% increase, now paying Sh2,000. Previously, these addresses were available for just Sh400 per year.
Post Master General John Tonui stated, “PCK wishes to inform our esteemed customers and the general public that the rates for MPost Virtual Boxes/Addresses for both Corporate and Individual have been adjusted.” He emphasized the corporation’s dedication to providing innovative communication, logistical, and financial solutions to its customers.
MPost is designed to convert mobile numbers into virtual post office addresses, facilitating mail and parcel delivery for individuals and businesses alike.
