Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba has declared she will not seek re-election using the ruling UDA party’s ticket, citing betrayal by the party’s leadership.
She criticized President Ruto’s administration for implementing policies without consulting leaders who campaigned for him, particularly regarding mandatory salary deductions. While still a UDA member, she disagrees with many government policies, calling political parties “con games.”
Wamuchomba is now searching for a leader with a people-centered agenda that aligns with her principles.
