Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has expressed the country’s interest in participating in BRICS initiatives.
Maduro highlighted Venezuela’s enthusiasm for several BRICS projects, stating, “Venezuela is committed to the BRICS multicurrency system, the alternative to SWIFT, and the trade proposals put forth by the group.”
Earlier, Venezuela’s Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodriguez, indicated that the nation is on the verge of joining BRICS, leveraging its resources for this purpose.
Additionally, Venezuela has confirmed that President Maduro has been invited to the BRICS+ summit in Kazan this October.
