President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that US-Ukraine talks will take place in Saudi Arabia next week, expressing optimism for a “meaningful meeting.”
Although Zelensky will be in the Gulf kingdom, he will not participate in the discussions. He emphasized Kyiv’s commitment to achieving a “fast and lasting” peace.
US President Donald Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, stated that the American delegation aims to establish a “framework” for peace to bring an end to the Russia-Ukraine war.
