At least two people drowned in Nairobi following heavy rains from Sunday to Tuesday, with authorities warning of more flooding.
One victim, identified as Mark Munywoki, was found in Nairobi River, while another unidentified body was recovered from Ngong River. Police fear more casualties and have urged residents to remain cautious.
The rains also caused power outages, road blockages, and a collapsed perimeter wall on Valley Road. The meteorological department predicts continued rainfall, prompting county officials to unclog drainage systems to mitigate flooding.
