The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a traffic disruption at the Haile Selassie roundabout on Uhuru Highway from March 3 to April 7, 2025, to facilitate the construction of a pedestrian underpass.
Motorists are advised to follow traffic management plans and cooperate with police and marshals on-site. The Sh2 billion underpass, part of the Greenpark Terminus Pedestrian Network, is designed to improve pedestrian safety and traffic flow.
Roads PS Joseph Mbugua stated that the underpass will feature 24-hour shops, monitored by police to enhance security and deter crime.
