Her colleagues and relatives, concerned after she failed to report to work, discovered her body after breaking into her house. The body had multiple stab wounds, and a kitchen knife, believed to be the murder weapon, was found at the scene. The boyfriend is currently missing, and police are searching for him.
In Meru County, a body of an unidentified man was found on a road in Kibugua with injuries, suggesting the body may have been dumped there after being killed elsewhere. Similarly, in Migori County, the body of a man, George Okoth Odhiambo, was found with deep cuts, and his motorcycle was found two kilometers from the crime scene. Police are investigating all three cases as possible murders.
