A 34-year-old man succumbed to stab wounds following a domestic dispute in Wamba Town, Samburu County.
Police identified the victim as Amos Lemeleni, who was stabbed in the chest and later died while receiving treatment at a local hospital. The altercation with his wife turned fatal on February 25.
Authorities recovered a kitchen knife used in the attack and arrested the woman for questioning and possible prosecution. The body was moved to the mortuary for an autopsy and further investigations.
Meanwhile, police are probing a murder after a man’s body was discovered on Likoni Road in South B, Nairobi.
The victim, identified as Daud Bishai, appeared to have been killed at the scene, with a visible cut on his upper limb.
The motive remains unclear, and no arrests have been made. The body was taken to the mortuary for autopsy as a special team investigates the case.
In another incident, a 57-year-old woman was found dead in a river in Ntimaru, Kuria East, in what police suspect to be a murder.
Robi Wambura Chegere had gone to wash clothes in River Robwe but never returned home. Her family later discovered her body with two deep head wounds.
Police, who found the body lying in a pool of blood, believe a sharp object was used in the attack. Investigations are ongoing, and no arrests have been made so far.
All three bodies have been taken to the mortuary for autopsy and further inquiries.
