Two suspects are on the run after one was filmed attacking a housekeeper in Nairobi’s Eastleigh. Inspector General Douglas Kanja confirmed the incident at Ushirika Tower estate, captured on CCTV and shared online, prompting public outcry and a police investigation. The main suspect, reportedly a Ugandan, entered the sixth-floor apartment with a hammer, assisted by Everlyne, a fellow Ugandan housekeeper. Together, they assaulted 20-year-old Hakimo Muhidin, a Somali housekeeper, and stole cash, gold jewelry, and laptops. Muhidin sustained serious injuries and is recovering. The tenant was away with his children, and his wife was in India for treatment. Detectives are actively pursuing the suspects, with border alerts in place.
