A shopping receipt helped police identify Deka Abdinoor Gorone, a woman who was found murdered and her body discarded at Lang’ata cemetery. Gorone had traveled from California estate to meet Hashim Dagane Muhumed in a Lavington short-stay room. After a visit to a nearby supermarket, CCTV captured her putting a receipt in her pocket. Days later, police discovered her boiled remains at the cemetery entrance, along with the receipt, which contained critical information leading to her identification. Mobile phone records further linked Muhumed to the crime, revealing frequent contact between the two.
