President William Ruto issued a strong warning to international organizations in Nakuru, accusing them of sponsoring violence in Kenya. He emphasized that such actions would not be tolerated, stating that Kenya is a democratic nation governed by the rule of law. Ruto urged NGOs to clarify their roles in recent protests and condemned those inciting youth to chaos for selfish motives. He assured Kenyans that investigations into these organizations are underway and stressed the importance of peace and unity among citizens.
Additionally, Ruto announced development initiatives, including a Sh2 billion electricity program benefiting 30,000 households and lifting restrictions on land settlements in Nakuru County. He also highlighted government support for agricultural sectors and new market constructions to enhance trading conditions. Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua reiterated the government’s commitment to national unity and thanked Nakuru residents for their support.
