President William Ruto on Tuesday inaugurated several development projects in Kwale County, accompanied by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and other leaders.
Key among the projects was the Sh1.4 billion Last Mile Connectivity initiative, set to provide electricity to over 12,700 households, boosting agribusiness and the blue economy. He also commissioned new classrooms and a laboratory at Kiwegu Secondary School, alongside healthcare infrastructure at Mkogani Sub-County Hospital.
In Mombasa, Ruto opened the Likoni Technical and Vocational College, inspected the Changamwe affordable housing project, and issued 450 title deeds. On Friday, he will oversee the signing of a Sh30 billion agreement with the African Export-Import Bank for the Dongo Kundu Special Economic Zone.
