A postmortem on the bodies of Justus Musyimi and Martin Mwau, two of the four missing Mlolongo men, has revealed they suffered multiple injuries before their deaths. Government pathologist Dr. Richard Njoroge stated that both victims sustained chest, head, abdominal, and neck injuries, with Musyimi showing defensive wounds, indicating a struggle before he was killed. Mwau’s injuries suggest he was strangled, with additional abdominal and thoracic trauma.
The two went missing on December 17, 2024, and their bodies were later found at Nairobi Funeral Home. Due to advanced decomposition, DNA testing will be done before releasing the bodies to their families.
Meanwhile, their families and human rights groups, including ICJ Executive Director Eric Mukoya, are demanding justice. The victims were abducted alongside Steve Mbisi and Kalani Muema, who remain missing. Their lawyer, Dan Maanzo, believes the other two bodies may still be in the mortuary awaiting identification.
Police say investigations into the abduction and murder are ongoing.
