Detectives are probing a series of incidents, including the sudden death of a police officer, the discovery of an undetonated bomb, and multiple suicides across the country. In Nairobi’s Karen area, Sergeant Daniel Kipruto Kangogo, a member of the Presidential Escort unit, collapsed and died while about to board an official vehicle. He was rushed to Karen Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. The cause of death remains unknown pending an autopsy.
In a separate case, villagers in Kaseve, Masinga (Machakos County) discovered an undetonated bomb, prompting police to secure the area. The explosive was safely detonated in an isolated location, and investigations into its source are ongoing. Meanwhile, police are also investigating three reported suicide cases. These include a 21-year-old man in Akila, a 40-year-old man in Wajir, and a tragic case involving a six-year-old boy in Lari, Kiambu County. Authorities are working to determine the motives and circumstances behind these deaths, with some cases lacking suicide notes or clear explanations.
