Authorities are investigating a series of violent deaths reported in different parts of the country. In Koibatek, Baringo County, detectives are searching for a man suspected of murdering his wife, Mercy Cheposkony Chirchir, whose body was discovered with head injuries in Tolmo village.
In Narok, Mosambi Rioba, 56, was strangled to death by an acquaintance in Nyamutambe village, with police suspecting a land dispute as the motive.
Meanwhile, in Jomvu, Mombasa, a man died after sustaining head injuries during a fight with a friend. His body was found with visible wounds, and no arrests have been made.
In Turbo, Uasin Gishu County, police found the body of Kennedy Odhiambo, 40, with a deep cut on his ear. A bloodstained stone and a motorcycle were recovered from the scene.
Additionally, in Marereni, Kilifi County, a mob lynched Ngowa Kenga, 35, after he allegedly attacked his brother with a panga during a domestic dispute. His injured brother was hospitalized in stable condition.
All bodies have been moved to respective mortuaries for autopsy as investigations continue.
