Police are searching for three suspects involved in the fatal stabbing of a 35-year-old man in Kikonor, Kilgoris, Narok County. The incident occurred on October 20, with the victim, Michael Kiptoo, being found with a stab wound to the neck. The attackers fled, and the motive remains unclear. The body was taken to Kilgoris Level Four Hospital for an autopsy.
In another incident, a woman’s body was found floating in River Sagana in Mwea, Kirinyaga County. Authorities suspect she may have drowned or was murdered and dumped. The body, which showed no visible injuries, was moved to Murang’a Level Five Hospital for identification and further examination.
Separately, two suicide cases were reported in Taita Taveta and Elgeyo Marakwet counties. A 58-year-old man in Taita Taveta hanged himself with a rope in his compound, while in Kacherop, Elgeyo Marakwet, 60-year-old Leah Cheruto also died by hanging herself at home. No suicide notes were found, and police are yet to determine the motives.
