Police are currently investigating five separate missing persons cases across the country.
In Mathira West, Kiamaina village, authorities are looking into the disappearance of 18-year-old Rageal Wamuyu Wachira, a Form One student at Ragati Secondary School. She was last seen on September 8, when she left home to go to church. Her mother reported her missing, stating that she has not returned home since.
In Kajiado County, specifically Kitengela, police are also searching for 17-year-old Monica Wanjiru, who left home on August 27 around 10 am. Her whereabouts have remained unknown since that day, and efforts to locate her have been unsuccessful.
In Kerugoya, authorities are investigating the case of 17-year-old Betty Edah Muriuki, who went missing on September 15 around 7 pm. She was last seen with the house phone, which is currently turned off, and attempts to trace her have yielded no results.
Additionally, police are looking for 25-year-old Faith Waithira Kabuchi, who disappeared on August 31 around 6:30 am. Kabuchi, a casual laborer at Kerugoya Referral Hospital, was last seen leaving her home in the Kiangai area to head to work. She never arrived, and while her phone remains on, all calls go unanswered.
