The Kenya Meteorological Department has forecasted widespread rainfall across various regions of the country over the next seven days. Rain is expected in the Central Highlands, Nairobi, Western Kenya, Lake Victoria Basin, Rift Valley, southeastern areas, the Coast, and northeastern Kenya, with isolated heavy showers likely in some locations.
Night temperatures are expected to be cooler, dropping to as low as 10°C in parts of the Central Highlands, Central Rift Valley, and southeastern lowlands. In contrast, daytime temperatures will remain warm, reaching over 30°C along the Coast and in the northeastern and northwestern regions.
The forecast follows recent heavy rains in Nairobi and surrounding areas, with more rain expected through November 11. The department advises residents to stay prepared, especially in areas at risk of isolated storms.
