The body of a five-year-old boy who had been missing was discovered inside a sack on the rooftop of a residential building in Isinya, Kajiado County.
Authorities reported that the child had been missing since March 27. His body was found on April 1 after residents complained of a foul smell. Upon investigation, they located a white sack on a rooftop in the Korrompoi area.
Police confirmed that the body was already decomposing. The child’s mother and grandmother identified him. The motive behind the murder remains unclear, and no arrests have been made. The body has been taken to the mortuary for an autopsy and further investigations.
Residents held a brief protest when police arrived, demanding justice for the child.
