Kirinyaga Woman Representative Njeri Maina has launched a classroom construction project at Kadawa Primary School in Mwea East Sub-county.
The project includes five ultra-modern classrooms with tiled floors, fully equipped with lockers and seats for learners. MP Maina said her office lobbied for the project to address poor learning conditions affecting students in the area.
With an estimated cost of Sh8 million, the initiative will also provide employment for over 40 workers daily, offering financial empowerment to the local community. Maina emphasized the need to bridge educational disparities, ensuring equal access to quality learning environments for all children.
