The Kenyan government will provide loans of up to Sh300,000 to youths securing jobs abroad through the Kazi Majuu program, Labour CS Alfred Mutua announced. The Youth Fund will cover pre-travel costs such as visa fees and airfare for those facing financial challenges.
Mutua highlighted that while thousands of job opportunities have been secured abroad, many qualified candidates struggle with travel expenses. This partnership ensures deserving youth can access global job opportunities, contributing to economic growth.
The initiative aligns with Kenya’s ongoing efforts to export labor to Europe and the Middle East, helping reduce unemployment.
