The Kenya Meteorological Department has predicted sunny, dry, and hot conditions across most parts of the country from February 18 to February 24. However, occasional light rainfall may occur in isolated areas near Mount Kenya, the Coastal region, Lake Victoria Basin, and the South-Eastern Lowlands.
Daytime temperatures will exceed 30°C in many areas, except for Central Kenya, the Rift Valley, and Lake Victoria Basin. Night-time temperatures below 10°C are expected in some highland regions. Strong south-easterly winds are also anticipated in the Northeast and Northwest.
Nairobi and the Highlands East of the Rift Valley will experience sunny intervals, with occasional afternoon showers near Mount Kenya. The Coast will have similar conditions, with possible light showers in some areas.
