Kenya Power has announced planned power interruptions in various areas across five counties on Thursday. The outages are set to take place at different times between 9 AM and 5 PM.
Counties Affected:
- Nairobi:
Power interruptions will occur in parts of Nairobi, including Komarock Road, Sakina Petrol Station, Councilor Opundo Road, Dandora Phase 5, Ushirika Primary, Kinyago Primary, and Gitari Marigu. - Kiambu:
Areas in Kiambu affected from 9 AM to 5 PM include Guango, Nguruwe, Little Sisters, Clifftop, Kigwaru Inn, Royal Brains, Ruaka S/Centre, Slaughter, and Kanungu. - Busia:
In Busia, the outages will impact Akichelesit, Kakapel, Angurai Market, Katakwa, Aboloi, Kamunyele, Rwatama, Kakurikit, Kasinge, Adanya, and Katoitoi Primary from 9 AM to 5 PM. - Mombasa:
Parts of Mombasa set to experience power cuts include Shimo la Tewa High School, Mama Ngina Girls High School, Flamingo Hotel, and Prison Staff Quarters. - Kilifi:
In Kilifi, the following areas will experience interruptions: Kiwandani Dispensary, NCPB, Mkoroshoni, Msufini, Koroshoni, Pwani University, Fumbini, Konjora, and Cashewnuts, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Residents are advised to plan accordingly as the utility company works to maintain and improve service reliability.
